Which resorts in Majorca are the best for a relaxing holiday?
Situated in the Mediterranean Sea, Majorca is one of Spain’s Balearic Islands. Much of the attraction of this island lies in the resorts that are aimed toward party goers, offering great selections of nightclubs, bars and discos. For those who go on holiday to relax, however, there are still plenty or resorts which can offer that. What follows is a list of the best resorts Majorca has to offer for a relaxing holiday.
A trip to C’an Picafort or Cala d’Or cannot fail to set you up for a relaxing holiday. They both have glorious white sandy beaches perfect for relaxing and snoozing the day away. Cala d’Or has beaches with notably shallow waters too, meaning that there will not be the sounds of speed boats pulling giant inflatable bananas around. All you will hear is the sound of the sea lapping the shore, and there’s nothing stopping you taking a nice relaxing dip in the warm waters.
Alcudia is another example of a resort that is not aimed at party goers. The lack of countless nightclubs means that you will have nice calm evenings free of thumping bass, and the beaches will not be full of loud young adults on their party tour. There is also plenty for the whole family to do, with an amazing water park, and nature reserves.
Another great destination that is more family oriented, and therefore more likely to facilitate a relaxing holiday, is Palma Nova. Though in many ways it is as big and busy as places like Magaluf, this will not stop it from being a relaxing holiday. There’s still the sun, sand and sea; but there will just be more to do than some of the other resorts.
The resorts on Majorca are quite similar in certain ways. They all have perfect white sanded bays with fantastic sunny climate and shimmering turquoise waters. To ensure that you have a relaxing holiday, then, all you need to do is stay away from party resorts such as Magaluf.
